Matched Sets

This is a partial selection of the many matched sets we carry. If you don’t see what you want, just give us a call and we can discuss your needs and check our inventory. These sets are cut from one or more logs from the same tree, but only the best boards are kept together and the lower grade material is cut into heavy stock or put into common lumber. Any of the boards kept in the set with problems are graded accordingly, and the customer does not pay for any sapwood, major splits, and the rest of the lower grade material from the log. The code on the end of the log indicates the set number, widths, usable cuttings, board footage and other pertinent information.
